Lets not be divided by hearing the 'chinese' church, or the 'african-american' church. It is christ's church.Read Now
As churches are razed in China, we here in the USA wring our hands and lament the persecuted church 'over there' and its happening ‘to them.’ We may send money, we may pray, we may even send missionaries. We write about it in our blogs and fund raising campaigns, and even have it as a topic in our bible studies. However, the perspective is always ‘over there’ and ‘them.’
Those churches are a part of the body of our Lord and we should react as we have- and maybe more as we see darkness approaching.
These cases of church destruction are different. It has been done right here in the USA. In our back yard. To fellow American Christians. Three churches burned in two weeks. Three congregations have been displaced. Three congregations of Christ worshippers have been attacked.
Now, the situation is very different- at least it should be seen as different. It is not happening ‘over there’…to ‘them’…it is happening here, to us. The American Christian church is under attack. Physical attack.

How should it be different now that it has reached our shores?
